The Waterfront Museum

The Waterfront Museum and Showboat Barge
is a traveling museum that stopped at seven different ports up and down the Hudson River in 2009, but its usual home is at Pier 44 at the South end of Conover Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. As the name implies, the barge does double duty as a museum and entertainment center. Admission is free (donations accepted) and normal operating hours are Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

In April, 2010 the Museum will feature Tugboat Art and Maritime Scenes by Richard Samuelson.
